Great host & Great condo!

Jake is by far one of the best Airbnb hosts I have ever encountered. From the get-go he was organized and thoughtful about providing helpful suggestions on things to do and places to eat around town. Jake is incredibly responsive and very organized! Also, the place is beautiful! Two friends and I stayed for three nights and wished we could have hung around longer. The place is clean and easy to get to. It is a great place to spend time relaxing after being out all day hiking. I would definitely recommend Jake’s condo to anyone wanting to stay in the St. George area! (September 2016)

Super Clean, One of the Nicest Units in Las Palmas!

I’ll preface this review by noting that our family has rented many different condos in the Green Valley area many times over the past 10 years or so – including Las Palmas, Sports Village, and Estancia. That being said, we’ve seen a lot and I think it’s fair to say we’ve got a pretty good idea of what’s good and what stinks.

Here’s what’s great about this place:

It’s clean. You’d think that all condos are clean due to the professional cleaning services used by the unit owners – however, anyone who has stayed in more than a few condos knows that some are cleaner than others. This one gets a 10 on the cleanliness scale – for example, the vacuum is nice and I would actually use it at my house (it’s not an old plugged up piece of junk). The dishes are nice (and from this century), the bedding is nice, and everything about the place feels very nice and clean.

It’s close to the pools. My kids love the Green Valley Resort – this is almost as close as you can get (I’ve stayed in closer units but they are older and not as nice). To get to the resort you walk across the street and down a sidewalk and you’re there.

It’s close to the entrance. This might seem like a small thing, but weaving through all of the condos driving over all of those speed bumps gets old really quick when you come and go a lot – definitely a plus for this unit.

It’s close to a dumpster. Again, maybe sounds like a small thing, but if you’ve stayed in more than a few different units at Las Palmas you know that walking (or driving) long distances to find a dumpster is a pain.

It has a nice Weber BBQ grill. Dinner plans can get spoiled in a hurry when all you’ve got to work with is a small / worn out BBQ grill – definitely not the case with this unit.

It has Netflix and cable TV. No need to drag your Apple TV or Amazon stick or any other device along for your vacation.

It has a nice big deck with a great view.

Of course an honest review wouldn’t be complete without listing any potentially negative aspects as well. Really the only thing I could think of is that, as noted in the listing, the owners don’t include passes to the Green Valley Resort with your rental so you’ll have to fork over a few bucks if you’re looking to use those facilities. However, you do have access to both Las Palmas pools which seem to be just as fun for most kids.

In summary, a great place to stay – highly recommended by a family who has stayed in many different units in the area. (September 2016)

Great stay and excellent communication!

Had a great stay at Jake’s condo. The condo itself is truly lovely and spacious, and Jake’s communication gets an A+. Would recommend it without hesitation, and would absolutely stay here again. (August 2016)

Felt just like home!

We had a great time! The condo was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The pool was great and Karen was very responsive through the entire process! I would not hesitate in renting this condo again.

Beautiful Condo that was perfect for us!

We enjoyed this property and hope to come back to it many more times. There were some slight imperfections that the owner responded to perfectly and demonstrated that they cared about our experience. It has a terrific view and modern decor. Would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy St. George…

Beautiful, clean, and spacious condo

We had such a fabulous time staying here! The condo was beautiful, very clean and close to the Waterfall pool which we went to several times a day. The kitchen had anything we need and there was a high chair and pack n play for our little girl. We will definitely be back!
